Intervista In Radio Su The NickGradioShow - 07/05/2010

- On the phone with me now, she will be performing tonight live at Shrine at MGM Grand at Foxwoods. You know her massive hits like Leave (Get Out) Too Little Too Late, but most important is that it is my state, Massachusetts, JoJo! Live with me, how are you, JoJo?
Hi Nick! (Laughter)

- Great performance tonight at the Shrine at the MGM Grand, tell us a little about it.
I'm so excited! I will be presenting a night at the Shrine with DJ Skeet Skeet and I'll be there from 22pm, will sing a new song ... I'm so excited! I'm loving having returned to the East Coast, so I'm very excited.

- A new album is on the way, your site says he will call All I Want Is Everything. For the title I would say that we will have new types of music, as this process has been?
It's been great, definitely been a long journey, but now things are going right in a perfect manner. That time gave me the opportunity to try several different types of sounds and figure out how I wanted this album to be, what impression I wanted people to have. I actually had the opportunity to develop myself as a composer, an artist and really had many ups and downs, but like I said, everything is going right now.

- Do not want to feed the negative because I realize that the way things really are moving now, but you did some venting on the album or songs of hate the music industry?
(Laughter) He has no hatred for the music of the music industry, but what I want is that people realize some of my anger, frustration and resentment by the voice in some songs. I think I'm singing with more passion than before because I went through a lot in life both personal and professional life over the past two years. This disc is not actually a disk of anger, he is more a representation of a girl of 19 years and everything that a young woman goes through during that age.

- Your last album was released some time ago, so you think people will see a bit of old JoJo or you're a totally different person now?
Well, I still sing the same way I sang before, but now I feel I have much more control. But I mean ... I was 15 in my last album. Can you imagine a little change, especially now that I'm composing. So, it's much more mature, I think people may be impressed, but certainly not in a way that might compromise my image. It is actually a representation of where I am now. I was a little afraid to be as sincere as well, but I managed.

- Should be an interesting process and you write a song, record it and then watch people not only listening to his music, but singing to you. Are you ready for this?
Oh, I'm all ready! I'm very excited, I think my favorite part of this wonderful journey is that while I'm being sincere, there will be a transfer of energy to the audience. I can not wait, I hope people respond well to music and I can hardly wait to show my new material to them.

- We are live with JoJo on Q105 FM, she will be performing live tonight at the Shrine at the MGM Grand in Foxwoods with DJ Skeet Skeet who will be playing all night. JoJo, I feel that one of the nicest guys to work for several different reasons, is the Timbaland and you did it.
I was very intimidated. (Laughter) He was very ... he worked in a way very different from my way. I usually like to start at two in the afternoon and finish type, one or two in the morning. He likes to get like, two in the morning and finish at nine in the morning the other day. I was like, my God! "(Laughter) I do not know how to react.

- My God, is this normal?
I think it's normal for him. He wanted me to record some songs and two of them ended up on his album, Shock Value II in, and has two others that I cut. Then I started touring with him and ended up going to the Philippines together with Justin Timberlake. I mean, it's been a wonderful experience working with him ... is an amazing thing to me.

- I assume when he says "come, you will.
It's kind of what happens. (Laughter)

- So, I also noticed that you're big on Twitter. You addicted to social networks like many other celebrities?
I think so much fun! It's a fun way to interact with people. It's easy, it has few characters, you can tweet from your phone. I just retweet that we would be doing the interview at this time. It is a great way to promote things and say absolutely every kind of thing, like, I am obsessed by sauce, so I took a picture of the sauce and posted to Twitter. It's addictive! It is very addictive and I love it.

- It's pretty cool how you interact with people and try to let their fans informed about things they would never know unless you follow on Twitter.
Absolutely. He gives you a voice, otherwise people would not listen. Fans have the chance to see a different part of my personality.

- What other websites can fans have more access to information about you and know when new songs are released?
MySpace.com / jojoonline and jojoonline.com is my official website, despite being outdated now that we are in the process between the second and third album, but honestly, you always have the first hand information on twitter.com / JoJoistheway.

- Legal. Have lots of fun tonight at the Shrine, I'm sure it'll be great.
Thank you
